Painting

Here are a couple of things I've been working on for the baby's room. The stool took me a couple of weeks to paint...but I think it was worth it. It was challenging yet fun getting the letters to look like the ones on the real emblem...I don't think the baby will mind that it's not perfect.
This was a lot of fun to paint. I got the motorcycle cut-outs at Michaels and found the coolest paint additive. They have this stuff called Sparkles that can be added to any paint color so that it's no longer a flat color. That way, the motorcycles look more authentic.
I am currently working on painting more of the motorcycles in order to make a mobile that Erin inspired me to make. Thanks Erin! Once it's done I'll add some photos.

Our Nursery!

Well, I finally decorated the baby's room. As some of you know, I love Harley-Davidson motorcycles, so we decided to decorate the nursery with some of the things I've collected over the past few years.
I used an old day-by-day calendar to create a non-permanent boarder. It was a little challenging with the walls being out of square, but it looks okay from a distance. By the way, GlueDots are awesome! They're completely removable without leaving any marks but strong enough to hold everything in place. I love them!
Anyway, we thought if the baby is a boy, we'll leave the room as it is. If the baby is a girl we'll incorporate a few "girly" things into the motif.
Here are a few pics of the room:
