I woke up this morning at 4 and couldn't go back to sleep. My mind was going through all the things I need to do today and for the rest of the week. I suddenly grew very weary and felt like screaming "I can't do this Lord!".
As He always does, the Lord brought these versus to the front of my mind:
"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not grow tired or weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up on wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." - Isaiah 40:28-31
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus...I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:6-7, 13
My prayer, for you and myself, is that we will remember our great God who gives us everything and that He will be the strength we use/need in every area of our lives.
